The importance of IT (Information Technology) does not need to be demonstrated. Firms and companies with high IT use, educational institutions in IT, and private and public economic development agencies capitalize on the specific assets of the Canton of Fribourg, to contribute to the realization of an "IT Valley Fribourg".

In this perspective, a main objective will be to position Fribourg in the IT sector and increase its attractiveness for new enterprises, co-workers, students and researchers of the sector.
